The Honda N-One Style+ Urban Is A Retro-Luxurious Kei-Car For Japan

In Japan, the compact N-One model of Honda has been given a new Style + Urban special edition that includes faux wood dashboard and leather seats.

The world is aware of Japan’s devotion to simplicity. As a response to the way of life and the laws in Japan, a particular class of automobile called the Kei class was born. The Honda N-One is well-known in this market among people who are really interested in Japanese Kei automobiles. They designed the vehicle Kei-class to be immune from the nation’s government’s tax and insurance regulations, while still obeying them. They are also not required to have parking permits in rural regions.

In 2012, the Japanese market saw the debut of the Honda N-One, a tiny Kei Car with a high roof and five doors. In terms of the engine, they propelled the new Honda N-One Style + Urban by a 3-cylinder, 660cc, naturally aspirated engine block with a peak power of 58 hp. This engine, which has 58 hp, has a turbocharged higher version that can deliver up to 65 hp. Users can choose from a manual and CVT combo on the transmission side. In defense of Japan’s cold climates, the 2020 N-One offers a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The sporty RS trim level now offers a six-speed manual for the first time; previously, the N-One was only offered with a CVT automatic.

A console with wooden veneer, which we are not used to seeing in this segment, greets us when we open the car’s doors. The leather seats’ color choices support this application, which suggests a very high-quality space in terms of look. They stand out as a material that people wish to add some flair to their car, even though these fake wood veneers are not custom-made from a factory.

The Honda N-One is still a fairly rad-looking Kei car, even though not much has changed since the previous generation’s 2012 launch. On the N-One Style + Urban’s exterior, the grille has chrome highlights. The distinctive chrome front grille of the new special edition maintains its geometric design of “circle, square, and trapezoid,” flanked on either side by rounded Full LED headlights.

It has LED tail lights and daytime running lights with a glossy black border. The new special version also has black side door bumpers, door handles, and mirror covers. Including the chrome-encased black rear door rim and 14-inch steel wheels with vintage-style hubs.

While 14-inch wheels with retro-style wheel covers are available in Garden Green, Platinum White, Cream Premium Ivory, Meteoroid Gray, and Flame Red. LED headlights and taillights are standard equipment. The new Honda N-One Style + Urban comes in five different color choices available: Garden Green, Premium Ivory, Meteoroid Gray, Platinum White, and Flame Red.

At a starting price of $12,108, the N-One Style + Urban bundle will be accessible. For $13,067, purchasers in Japan can get the vehicle’s all-wheel drive model. The all-electric Honda E is the smallest Honda now sold outside of Japan; sadly, the N-One is not distributed to other markets.
