The Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger is the fourth car in the ‘Last Call’ Edition by Dodge for the muscle car duo of Charger and Challenger.

When Dodge announced to pull the plug off from the iconic duo of Charger and Challenger, it broke the hearts of many, particularly those of muscle car fans. While both Charger and Challenger will get discontinued after the current 2023 models, Dodge is giving a well-deserved tribute to both these cars with its ‘Last Call’ Edition for them.

Now, the wraps are off from the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger edition, which has debuted alongside a Challenger’s version in the same theme. The Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger Edition seek inspiration from Dodge’s ‘swinging’ muscle cars, which hit new heights of popularity in the late 1960s.

These two new models are the third and fourth installments in the ‘Last Call’ limited-edition models. Dodge will be making 1,000 widebody units of the Charger Scat Pack Swinger edition, which will be available for order from the official website of Dodge Garage. Let’s look at all the changes in the Charger Scat Pack Swinger over the regular version of the four-door muscle car.

Dodge signaled that it is going green in the future with the Charger Daytona SRT Concept. However, for the time being, Dodge is offering another green form of the Charger with the Scat Pack Swinger. This limited-run model pays tribute to the green-on-green Swinger look reminiscent of Dodge’s muscle cars from the late 1960s.

The Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger features a dual-tone color option of F8 Green and Sublime Green. In this exclusive paint scheme, the car gets a coat of F8 Green, with the boot lid having a strip of Sublime Green. This wide-looking strip of sublime green is spread across the width of the boot lid and extends over the rear fenders on the sides.

This edition is also available in an optional White Knuckle paint job. In addition to this green-on-green paint scheme, the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger features several ‘Gold School’ inserts. The list of these special inserts includes ‘Gold School Challenger’ and ‘Gold School R/T Widebody’ grille badge, ‘Gold School’ painted shaker intake, and ‘Gold School’ Bee badges.

The car also gets retro ‘Swinger’ badges on its rear fenders. Lastly, the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger rides on 20-by-11 inches ‘Gold School’ alloy wheels, with black-colored six-piston Brembo brakes behind them.

Dodge has made the all-black cabin of the Charger Scat Pack Swinger feel more special with contrast green stitching and green-colored ‘Dodge Rhombi’ badges on the headrests of the seats. Here, the seats come finished in Nappa/Alcantara leather, which makes the cabin feel upmarket.

The green influence in the cabin of the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger can be seen further in the ‘Swinger’ badge that pops up on the display screen of the instrument console. Even the center console and door panels get green-colored accent stitching. Furthermore, the mod grain wood-like aluminum bezel textures on the dashboard trim accentuate the plush feel of the cabin.

In addition to all these changes in its cabin, the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger also gets a unique ‘345’ plaque positioned under its hood. This plaque made of brushed aluminum has a silhouette of the Dodge Charger and inscriptions like ‘Designed in Auburn Hills’ and ‘Assembled in Brampton’.

The ‘345’ badge signifies Dodge's 345-cubic-inch (6.2-liter) HEMI engine. Paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, this engine produces a maximum power output of 717 hp and a peak torque output of 656 lb-ft.
