The Aventador never fails to impress and Lamborghini has continued the tradition with the LP 780-4 Ultimae, the most powerful Aventador ever made.
Lamborghini decided to end the Aventador era with the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. After a good eleven-year run, the company decided to make their last naturally-aspirated V12 engine this year.
The Lamborghini Aventador, with its V12 engine, is one of the best-aged cars of this generation in looks and performance. It has never failed to impress, and this latest model is a good example of why this vehicle is top-tier.
The LP 780-4 Ultimae is the most powerful Aventador ever made. It has a high-performing engine, superb handling, advanced technological solutions, and a beautiful design. Lamborghini will produce 350 units, assuring it will be a collector's item in the future.
The Aventador has always managed to be a high-class, luxurious supercar with extraordinary features like scissor doors, aggressive styling, and the V12 engine. This last model carries that tradition and shows why a Lamborghini differs from other supercars. It offers both smoothness and comfortability that one can find in the Aventador S and Aventador SVJ.
When the LP 780-4 Ultimae debuted in July 2022, car enthusiasts placed the vehicle in the hyper class with other high-performance machines such as the Mclaren 765LT Spider and Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Let's find out more about this hypercar and why it's loved by many.

The LP 780-4 welcomes the driver with a set of scissors doors that are a trademark of the iconic Aventador. Once inside, you'll notice the luxurious leather that covers the comfortable bucket seats. Like most hypercars, Ultimae has limited space for luggage, but Lamborghini covered that issue by allowing the driver to customize the interior.
In front, a futuristic cockpit looks better than the ones in most private jets. However, the seating position is low and outward vision is slightly restricted. This is because of the vehicle's sleek exterior that provides excellent aerodynamic characteristics. Even though the seats are comfortable, the car can be intolerable on longer trips.
For infotainment, there's a high-definition 8-inch screen in the center console. The system is operated by voice control and features Apple CarPlay capability. Also, Lamborghini offers an upgraded audio system with door-mounted subwoofers and dashboard tweeters.
The company also knew that racing enthusiasts would take the vehicle to the track, so they added a performance data recorder that saves lap times and other track data. The only letdown with the infotainment system is that it uses older graphics and has a fiddly integration.
Like most Lamborghini's, the LP 780-4 is light; to achieve this, the company used carbon fiber to keep the weight down. A combination of that and the powerful 6.5-liter V-12 engine makes the LP 780-4 fast. According to Lamborghini, the Aventador can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 220 mph.
The only vehicles able to be on par with the LP 780-4 is the Mclaren 765LT Spider and the Ferrari F8 Tributo. The Mclaren has a top speed of 205 mph and can reach 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, while the Ferrari can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and its top speed is around 210- 211 mph.
The vehicle's handling is top tier, thanks to the four-wheel steering system. At high speeds, the system turns the rear wheels slightly in the same direction as the front wheels, improving stability in sharp turns. However, when it's cruising, the rear wheels usually turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels, making the car easier to park in tight spaces.
The four-wheel system is not the only feature in the spotlight. Lamborghini added a pushrod suspension system and magnetorheological front and rear shock absorbers to contribute to the hypercar's superior handling. Both systems work together to compensate for roll and detrimental vehicle body movement. They also deliver an impressive response in every dynamic condition.

Lamborghini added a seven-speed automatic transmission with shifting rods to power the V12 engine. What's more amazing is that it's smaller than a standard gearbox, and the reason for this is Lamborghini keeps the weight to a minimum.
Also, the car has three modes to manage the engine; STRADA, SPORT, and CORSA. The modes also control the steering, traction, suspension, and stability. Lamborghini added the EGO mode for those who want more, allowing the driver to customize each setting.
The All-Wheel-Drive(AWD) system distributes the torque between the front and rear axles, depending on the road conditions and the selected driving mode. This makes the car achieve unbelievable handling and performance.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae is for high-wealth individuals that can tolerate high maintenance costs. It's also not a family car but meant for track use or special occasions. Still, there's no other vehicle that look's like it, and getting a vehicle like that would be every car enthusiast's dream.
