CAMDEN — Camden Comeback (a nonprofit community organization) will hold its second Business Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will celebrate and highlight Camden’s businesses and encourage residents and visitors to shop local.
“We have 25 businesses participating and offering discounts, specials, free gifts, refreshments and door prizes.” said Debbie Mason, Communications Chair for Camden Comeback Communications Chair. “The deals included special pricing, percentage off orders and sales, and BOGOs and the door prizes include Cincinnati Red tickets, three Chromebooks, a free event ($250 value) at our community center, $250 gift card for auto repair/maintenance, gift certificates from area businesses, $50 off a custom cake, great gift baskets, free hamburgers and so much more.” (See a list of the businesses participating and what they are offering on the ad placed in this same newspaper.)
Camden Comeback is also giving away lots of prizes to attendees just for visiting participating businesses. “Event attendees should come to Camden Comeback’s event headquarters in our Veterans Park, corner of Main and Central, to pick up a card with the names, addresses and a map of participating businesses. Then, ask the businesses they visit to check the box confirming they stopped by and drop off your cards back at our tent for a chance to win some really cool stuff,” Mason explained.
Businesses participating in the event include:
4J’s Pizza & Cafe
Camden Library (Branch Of Preble County Libraries)
Fired Up T’s And More
Ron’s Pizza & Subs
“Now more than ever, successful local businesses are critical for small towns to thrive and survive, and we appreciate all of our Camden businesses. We just want to show them,” Mason said, “This Business Appreciation Day is just one way to do that.”
