The new Cadillac Escalade continues the tradition of extravagance as the brand's flagship model. Let's check out its opulent interior.
More than 20 years have passed since the Escalade made the first major entry into the SUV market for Cadillac. Without a doubt, the vehicle has changed a lot in time, but it retained that bold and aggressive look that set it apart from the others from the beginning. In 2023, the Cadillac Escalade stands as pure luxury inside out.
This year has also seen the making of the V-series Escalade, a high-performance variant that will deliver 682 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. But even without this upgrade, the Escalade has something to offer for everyone, with its range of powertrain options, impressive trailering, and, on top of everything, luxury.
In essence, the new Cadillac Escalade continues the tradition of extravagance as the brand's flagship model, coming with bold styling, top-notch quality materials, high-end tech, and all kinds of other features. Today, we're set to explore these in more detail and dive deeper into the Cadillac Escalade's interior.

As we mentioned, the exterior of the Cadillac Escalade has always been something distinctive, and things haven't changed for 2023. This year, the SUV stands out with aggressive yet sleek lines and accents, light blade headlights, a black-out grille, and many other exclusive parts. The same stands for the interior, if not even more so.
The first thing everyone simply must notice when exploring Cadillac's flagship model is cabin luxury. Whether it's the base Luxury trim, the high-grade Platinum, or any other in between, the Escalade's cabin is overloaded with quality materials. Alongside the available faux leather and the top-grade semi-aniline leather, there are also leather covers for the dash ad door panels and natural wood finishes to further beautify this ride.
Other than leather covers and accents, you'll notice aluminum speaker grilles and adjustable interior ambient lighting. The lighting feature particularly enriches the already luxurious interior by boosting the user experience during night rides. Illuminating the cabin in blue, the Cadillac Escalade draws you to take a spin when the sun sets down. But the owners are sure to equally enjoy rides at any time, especially with the UltraView sunroof, specially designed to give the driver and all passengers a beautiful view outside.
The bottom line is, the new Cadillac Escalade is all about refinement and elegant features that aim to wow the customer. If you ask us, the brand did a magnificent job here. RELATED: Larte Design Goes All Gangsta With The 2023 Cadillac Escalade
We are not to say the Cadillac Escalade is a perfect SUV because we all have our preferences. However, it does tick quite a few significant boxes, including the provided technology.
First and foremost, the Cadillac Escalade has an intuitive interior layout, with the large central display being slightly curved for an improved experience. Thanks to the double 4K pixel density, high-quality viewing is guaranteed. There's also an advanced 19- or 36-speaker audio system for a top-notch listening experience. The developers even put a 12.6-inch diagonal touchscreen display on the rear of the front seats to keep all passengers entertained.
When it comes solely to driver convenience and comfort, the Cadillac Escalade offers a full-color head-up display for reading key vehicle information and an array of safety and driver-assistance features for increased protection and some hands-free time on the road. Alongside automatic parking assist, there's a whole suite called Super Cruise that includes adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and much more.
We particularly like the augmented reality-enabled navigation that projects a live street view in front of the vehicle onto the display and in-cluster navigation. Of course, everything is also nicely packed in a luxurious package for easy use and comfort during the rides.
It's impossible to talk about the Cadillac Escalade without mentioning the impressive interior space. Such a large SUV offers more than enough legroom and headroom for all occupants to feel comfortable. Moreover, with the 121 cubic feet of cargo room that extends to 142.8 with folded seats, the Escalade leaves no worries that any luggage will stay behind.
It goes without saying, the Cadillac Escalade's interior also offers super comfortable and supportive seats for all occupants. They are heated and ventilated, adjusting in 16 ways and providing massage settings you can use to relax on long rides. Speaking of luxury and convenience, right?
Did we mention the console refrigerator with freezer mode? That's a neat one. Located in the center console, the appliance helps the driver and the passengers keep their drinks cool and within hand's reach at all times. Well done, Cadillac.
